It's a more ethical and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional leathers, used in ə'serdiv products for its durability and luxurious hand-feel.

How durable is AppleSkin compared to real leather?
AppleSkin offers impressive durability, being abrasion and tear-resistant. It offers breathability, it is UV & Water-Resistant and contains no toxic chemicals. It's crafted to withstand daily wear, matching the longevity of traditional leather without the environmental impact.

How do you care for your Appleskin shoes?
Cleaning: Gently wipe your AppleSkin products with just a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and stains. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Conditioning: Although AppleSkin is designed to be low maintenance, if you wish to condition it, use a conditioner that is suitable for synthetic leathers.
Regular Rotation: Avoid wearing the same pair of shoes every day. Rotating between different pairs allows each set of shoes to air out and reduces the wear and tear on any single pair, thereby extending their overall lifespan.

Are e'serdiv shoes wide-foot friendly?
Our shoes are designed from scratch on a C-fit last, which means they offer a more generous fit compared to most fast fashion stores. Many of our customers with D-fit feet have found them comfortable, but as every foot is unique, your personal structure will ultimately determine the fit. To make your experience worry-free, we offer free returns and exchanges if they don’t feel quite right. You can also use our Try with Mirra service, which lets you try the shoes before you buy. This way, you can feel confident about your purchase!

What sustainable packaging solutions does e'serdiv use?
e'serdiv partners with Heaps Good Packaging, utilising FSC-certified shoeboxes made from recycled or reusable cardboard. All packaging materials are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible, including water-activated recyclable tape and compostable shipping labels printed with thermal printers.

Where are our shoes made?
Production takes place in Dongguan, China. Manufacturing partners undergo annual SMETA audits performed by Sedex -one of the world’s leading ethical trade organisations. The brand has full transparency over their supply chain.
Sedex assess the labour standards, health and safety, environmental performance, and ethical conduct of our partners. Workers are paid above the living wage, and suppliers comply with local labour laws regarding salaries, social benefits, working hours, conditions, and insurance.
